Automotive Restoration Specialist

Job Description:

able to perform one or more of the following tasks:

  • Disassemble and assemble classic vehicles -Engines, Transmission, Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Interiors, etc.
  • Repair, replace and/or refurbish vehicle parts
  • Restoration and custom fabrication-metal and fiberglass
  • Prepare to paint and paint vehicles
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Be a flexible team worker

Required Work Experience:

  • Background of working on older vehicles, 1980 and older is a plus
  • 2+ years of restoration and/or mechanical experience
  • Metal, body and paint experience 

Required Skills:

Ability to complete one or more of the following tasks: 

  • Repair Braking, Steering, and Suspension Systems
  • Diagnose and Repair Electrical Issues 
  • Disassemble and Assemble Engines, Transmissions, and Differentials
  • Complete Interior Disassembly and Assembly; Seats, Dash, Gauges, Consoles, etc
  • Service and Maintenance Work such as: Oil Changes, Lube, General Maintenance
  • Automotive restoration skills from fabrication to painting
